Kawasaki says the new model is designed with trailriders in mind and we believe them! It’s powered by a fuel-injected air-cooled 233cc four-stroke single paired to a six-speed transmission. The frame is a steel perimeter design with an adjustable telescopic fork and Uni Trak shock.
It features ABS, which is switchable to suit road and dirt riding, disc breaks front and rear and 21″/18″ wheels. Seat height is a friendly 885mm and electric start adds to the KLX230’s beginner appeal.
Price is still to be announced – more info at https://kawasaki.com.au/shop/motorcycles/off-road/klx230/
