KTM/MEPMX/Fly Racing’s MacKenzie Tricker came through to earn the WXC class win at the conclusion of Sunday’s morning race at the Ironman GNCC. AmPro Yamaha’s Rachael Archer would come through to finish second in the WXC class with Fly/Maxxis/Pro Circuit/KTM’s Becca Sheets rounding out the final WXC podium of the season.

However, attention would be turned towards Rockstar/Husqvarna/Moose Racing’s Tayla Jones as she clinched her third WXC National Championship after a hard-fought battle all year long.

Tricker finished the season third on 227 points, 52 points behind Jones. KTM’s Becca Sheets capped off the year second in points, just nine points behind Jones.

Tricker took to Instagram to express her excitement with claiming the win at Ironman.

All I can say is FINALLY!! Hopefully I can keep the ball rolling into next year, I’ve been sure close to winning the last few races but not close enough and today I was finally able to seal the deal even after totally sinking my bike in a mud hole on lap one while leading, big shout-out to the 2 guys who helped pull me out I’d still be there if it wasn’t for y’all! Just kept trucking today, was patient when I needed to be and it really paid off. Thank you so much to @dylan_77_bean & @nickrupertii for chasing me all day, the whole ktm crew for being out there and everyone who helps me go racing @dylan_77_bean @ktmusa @mepmx @flyracingusa #grizzlypeakmarketing @trspeedway @xtremetruckandtrailer @xcgear17 @elineaccessories @bell_powersports @xbrandgoggles @cormotographics @skullcandyoz @fmf73 @motorex_powersports @motionpro @alpinestars @rk_excel @hammernutrition @polarglobal @dt1filtersusa @mikametals @puremotiongreenville @fuelclothing @tmdesignworks @ridedunlop @imsproducts @rekluse_motorsports @asterisk_usa @uswesports @enduroengineering @guts_racing_inc #akreadymix #ulrichperformance 📸 @dchapman457
