Jett was looking fast all event and on track to claim the 250 Pro Sport title when he suffered a mechanical problem which brought his title hopes to an end. The Honda rider managed second in the Open Pro Sport class with a second in Moto 1, first in Moto 2 and third in Moto 3.
Lawrence will make his Lucas Oil Pro Motocross 250MX debut at Unadilla for the GEICO Honda team on the weekend of 11 August.
